The total cost of your order is that which is displayed at the time of checkout; no additional charges will be made. Delivery charges and VAT are all included.

Shipment and Delivery

TNT is the shipping company we have entrusted for the delivery of your Mediterranean order.

Delivery charges and VAT are all included.

Please allow 10 days for delivery of products you have purchased on the mediterraneanshop.com website.

If you will not be home between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to receive the delivery, please give us your business address if you prefer to receive the delivery at work. Or, alternatively, give us the name and address of a neighbour or relative that is willing to sign and accept your delivery.

Again, we suggest that you supply us with your work address, or that of a neighbour or relative, if you are not planning to be at home to receive the delivery. To assist us in serving you, we would appreciate as much notice as possible of any special requirements.

The Mediterranean Shop™ does not currently offer delivery to BFPO addresses.

The Mediterranean Shop™ reserves the right to withdraw international deliveries when we find it necessary due to external problems or difficulties beyond our control.

Tracking your Order

If you need to check the status of your order, you can log onto our website using your email address and the password you supplied when you ordered and check the status of your order and obtain the carrier tracking number.

You will also receive a confirming e-mail once your order has shipped which contains the Carrier and the tracking number. You can track your shipment in real-time by entering your tracking number directly on its website: tnt.com

Security of Transactions

We at The Mediterranean Shop™ take your security very seriously and encrypt consumer data, such as credit card numbers, when you order directly through the website. We transfer the encrypted data over the Internet using secure socket layer (SSL) technology so that your online shopping experience is safe and secure.

When you place an order through our web site you will be connected directly to the Bank and their Safe Payment System. We assure you that your credit card details will not be registered at our database.

The website also invites you to contact The Mediterranean Shop™ via e-mail, through the "Contact Us" pages. E-mail correspondence is a free text format and cannot be encrypted, therefore it is not a secure mean of communication.

All prices shown on the website are based on the € Euro currency and do always include Delivery Charges and VAT.

Returns Policy

We hope that you will be totally satisfied with any purchase made with The Mediterranean Shop™

TMS accepts exchange of our products when the goods are received in bad conditions, if the product shows signs of general deterioration or damage from the handle during the transportation. In order to receive your exchange you need to notify us in writing by electronic mail or telephone call within 24 hours from the moment you received your package.

All deliveries must be checked at time of receipt.

When your notification is received within the above stated time limit TMS will be in charge of exchanging the damaged goods for new top quality products, as well as all the extra costs of the delivery and the withdrawal of the damaged goods.

We undertake to accept all cancellations of orders that arrive before despatch of the goods.

This return policy does not apply to TMS Artworks.

Alcohol & Tobacco

Alcohol may only be sold to persons 18 years of age or over. Tobacco products may only be sold to persons 22 years of age or over.

TMS will only offer one package of alcohol and two of tobacco at a time delivered to the same person, with the exception for the countries of Sweden, Ireland and Greece where TMS does not sell alcohol.

Car Rental Policy

Prices include:

• - Unlimited Mileage
• - Fully Comprehensive Insurance
• - Airport Service
• - V.A.T.
• - Delivery / Collection at Malaga airport

No additional charge for:

• - Collection or Delivery between 23:00 and 7:00 (airport only)
• - One way rentals
• - First additional driver

Additional charge to be paid in Destination

• - Baby seat : 2€ per day
• - Additional drivers: 1€ per day maximum charge: 7€ per driver

Payment details:

• - Client pays on arrival's Malaga airport the full tank of petrol.

Important

• - In order to save time, we would appreciate receiving the following details: Christian- and surname, address, holiday address, type of car, period of car hire, flight number, arrival time, departure time, driving licence number, date of issue, passport number.
  
  Email us: cservice@themediterraneanshop.com. We will send you the confirmation of the booking within 24 hours.
  If we receive all this information previously the collection won't take long.
• - The client receives the car full of petrol and must return the car empty
• - The insurance is fully comprehensive, but tyres, wheels, lost keys, undercarriage and interior of the car are not covered by insurance. In case of damage the hirer is liable for such items
